MAHALO NUI LOA for your help and generosity, our Back-to-School Jam was a SUCCESS! We were blessed to serve 57 children with school supplies for a total expenditure of $8063.49. Many of our keiki came in-person to Fisher Hawaii, to shop with their resource family and chose their own backpack, water bottle and supplies to ready themselves for the school year ahead. We couldn’t have done this without our AWESOME community partners, Ticket to Dream Foundation and Famous Footwear, through donations received at Famous Footwear Stores, a $5000 School Essential grant was awarded to the Friends of CASA Hawaii. The remaining $3063.49 was provided as part of Servco Pacific Inc.'s $15K foundation grant awarded to FOCH on July 7, 2022. We are so grateful for your kind support! A BIG MAHALO to everyone involved with our CASA Back to School Event at Fisher Hawaii. Resource families checked in with their CASA keiki & youth who selected their own backpacks and were readied to fill their baskets and carts with school supplies. We love that they had the choice to choose for themselves! School supplies were provided free of cost to our CASA families through generous support from Friends of CASA Hawaii, Ticket to Dream Foundation and Servco Pacific Inc.
