Treat Your Sister Saturday

This event is in collaboration with Gloria Pagoyo, CASA Program, Youth-in-Court/UH Law School and FOCH.
Who: Open to girls and those who identify as girls age 12-19 in foster care, who are completing high school or a program leading to an equivalent credential.
Girls may bring one female supporter, who will not actively participate in the event.
Lunch will be provided to everyone in attendance.
No transportation will be provided.
Our girls (foster youth) of ages 12-19 years old will be welcomed at 12noon and have an opportunity to meet and chat (over lunch), with vendors, speakers and volunteers, many of whom have walked a similar path. Our Program will begin at 1:00 p.m. to include, motivational speakers and budgeting class/exercises. At 2:00 p.m., our girls will then have the opportunity to spend their budgeted dollars (mock checkbook) on sponsored products and services. Girls can earn additional dollars by participating in various coaching sessions.
